Ramadan Program

Ramadan Planner 2023

Rasûlullâh (sallallâhu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Indeed, Allâh Tabâraka wa Ta‘âlâ prescribed the fast of Ramadân upon you, and I made it a Sunnah for you to stand its night in Ibâdah (Tarâwih Salâh). Whoever fasts this month, and stands its nights in Ibâdah (Tarâwih, Tahajjud, and the like) out of faith, hoping its reward from Allâh, he will be relieved from his sins as on the day his mother bore him.” (Sunan al-Nasâî)

Ramadan Sharif is the ninth of the 12 months according to the lunar calendar, and Allah has commanded us to fast in this month. In addition, the night of Qadr, is when the Quran began to be revealed, is one night that is hidden in the last 10 days of this month. For this reason, it is extremely important for every Muslim to take advantage of the night of Qadr by fasting in the mornings and worshipping at night.

Every Ramadan, at Campbellfield Mosque, Muqabala is performed. Times will be stated here once confirmed.

In this way, the Sunnah of reciting that the Prophet saw and Jibreel (AS) did is imitated, so a sacred ambience is experienced.

Fasting requires not only staying away from food but also avoiding all acts of sin. This will only be possible by spending time with good people in good places.

‘Whomever feeds a person breaking his/her fast will earn the same reward as him/her, without any rewards decreased from the fasting person. (Tirmidhi, Savm 82)

You can sponsor an iftar or sahoor to our students of Quran al-kareem at our Girls Madrasah here at Campbellfield Mosque.

Tarawih Salâh is a Sunnah of Ramadhân. It is a Sunnah Al-Muakkadah for both men and women consisting of twenty rakahs (units). It is Sunnah to perform it in the congregation. It can also be performed individually. It is performed after Ishâ and before the Witr Salâh.

Every night Tarawih prayer is performed in the congregation. You can check up-to-date prayer times on our website. We hope to spend these precious times with you, our brothers and sisters.
