The importance of doing Hizmat to the Qur’an al Kareem and Sunnah al Saniyyah. In Surah Maidah Ayah 3, it is stated: “This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed my favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.” The Tafsir and the meaning of this Ayah is: “I have informed you of all the rules concerning Iman, Aqeedah and Akhlaq, and have taught you the perfect Islamic legislative and Ijtihad regulations. From now on, there is no possibility for these rules to be lifted. And I have made you reach salvation with divine guidance and assistance. I have approved for you as religion Islam, and in the presence of Allah, the only acceptable religion is Islam.” Yes, as we can see, Islam is the last and most perfect religion sent to mankind for them to reach happiness both in this world and the Akhirah. Therefore, living by the rules of Islam, be it individually or as a community, leads the whole of mankind to salvation, our religion has encouraged the studying and teaching of Islamic knowledge and has valued those who are preoccupied with this. In Surah Tawbah Ayah 122 it is stated: “The believers should not go forth to battle all at once. But there should separate from every division of them a group remaining to obtain understanding in the religion (to learn Fiqh) and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious.”

Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said in a Hadith Shareef: “For those who Allah wishes goodness, Allah makes them knowledged in Fiqh.” In another Hadith-i Shareef “The most virtuous among you, are those who learn and teach the Qur’an.” Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alf Thani (q.s.) states in his Maktubat Shareefa about the importance of studying and teaching Islamic knowledge by saying: “The first Wajib, obligatory, thing upon the Mu’mins is knowledge concerning Iman and Itiqad. Meaning, that they must first of all straighten their Itiqad. And they must do this according to the views of the Ahli Sunnah wal Jama’ah Ulama. After perfecting their Itiqad, they must learn and act according to the Amal Fiqh of Islam, Halal-Haram, Fardh-Wajib-Sunnah, Mandub-Makruh. Again the students should study and research books of Fiqh.” In another letter sent to Sayyid Farid Bukhari, he stated his happiness that this person sent donations and gifts to help the students in their studies and that just like how the students are valued and put forward externally, they should also be favoured internally.

It is possible to explain more in detail this issue. But if we were to summarise, the greatest Nimah in this world is to study and teach Islamic knowledge and to support these people. Every Muslim should do what they can to help and support these Masjid’s that teach Islam Aqeedah and tarbiyah in every season, at the weekends and during the holidays.
