Islamic Marriage Ceremony

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. May Allah bless you and your family. Our staff and Imams are glad to be a part of this joyous occasion. We want to make sure this will be a successful event for you and your future spouse.

Please note the following guidelines to help make your ceremony run smoothly:

  • We will only conduct a religious marriage if an official marriage has or is set to take place
  • Mutual (consent) agreement (Ijab-O-Qubul) by the bride and the groom
  • Legal guardian Wali ( Muslim ) or his representative, wakeel, ” representing “the bride
  • Two adult and sane Muslim witnesses, (Ash-Shuhud ), 2 males or 1 male and 2 females
  • Mahr (marriage-gift) to be given by the groom to the bride either immediately (muajjal) or deferred (muakhkhar), or a combination of both
